DTP and CTP studio

A number of graphic designers process the data of our clients in a fully equipped graphic studio. We utilize our knowledge in order to get the optimal result consistent with the used technology of printing and the bookbinding manufacturing.

We work on the PC platform (QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel and others). The MAC platform (Adobe Photoshop) is then used for the processing of lay-out of picture materials.

Our studio is equipped with the Epson Expression 10000XL flatbed scanner and the Heidelberg Tango drum scanner.

We utilize the workflow that is operated on the basis of the Prinergy EL system.
For the approval of colour scheme we use the coloured certified proof sheet of the EPSON Stylus Pro 4800 printer of A3+ format on the GMG platform.
For printing plate preparation we use the system by Kodak Company that is composed of:

• two CTP devices
• B1 Lotem 800 format
• VLF Magnus VLF 5570 format

Both CTP devices utilize the Quantum exposure heads with the SquareSpot technology.
Advantages of the KODAK system including the WORKFLOW CREO PRINERGY development unit:

• speed of data processing
• processing quality
• accuracy demonstrated especially in the register

According to the type of the order we use the following screens:

• screen photogravure (AM) – various angles of rotation, various types of spots (Round-Square (Euclidean), elliptical, cyclic etc.) are possible. The Round-Square spot profits mostly from advantages of the SquareSpot technology (spot with sharp edges)
• frequency modulated (FM) or stochastic – Staccato – size up to 20 microns
